Hi, this is me, 1059860, one of the two founders of this website: 81-Square Universe. The other being my partner Hirohiigo.

About my shogi history:

I actually started shogi not long ago. Funny thing is that, I actually found out about this game from the Japanese cartoons (animes), and thought the game looked interesting. I went onto YouTube, found HIDETCHI-san's videos on shogi and immediately gotten addicted to the game.

I started watching my first video in April and finished all 160 some videos about shogi on his channel in about 2 months (due to school, I couldn't be watching them 24/7, obviously). Playing wise, I only started about not even 3 months ago, so I am not great yet, but I do know some of the basic strategies.

Recently, Hirohiigo also started making his own videos on shogi proverbs as well as recording some of his own games, so I am excited as well.

As for myself, I have only made 2 videos on my channel: 1 being a self-made tsumeshogi video, and the other being a HAMShogi 10-Piece Handicap video in which I won against the hamster AI. I also likes playing other strategy games such as Pokemon Battling Metagame (sorry if that's not your hobby) so my YouTube channel has quite a few videos on that as well.

HIDETCHI and Hirohiigo both make wonderful videos so I suggest you all to sign up, but this concludes the introduction about myself. Post some stuff about you and let everyone know each other just a little bit better.
